Mr. Tetirick is the chair of the Business Law Section. He came to Cantey & Hanger in 1984, immediately following graduation from the University of Texas School of Law. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Tetirick practiced for several years with the tax and audit groups of a major international accounting firm. He was licensed as a CPA in Texas in 1981. His legal practice is centered in: private and public securities offerings; business acquisitions and dispositions; entity selection and formation; and software licensing. Professional Associations Mr. Tetirick is a recent past chairman of the board of Junior Achievement of the Chisolm Trail, Inc., August 1998 to June 2000; a former board chair of the Entrepreneurship Institute of Tarrant County, 1992 to 1993; and former steering committee member, director and treasurer of the Tarrant County Business Law Association, 1992 to 1993. He is a present director of Mayfest, Inc., Junior Achievement and the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate and a member of Forum Fort Worth, 1987 to present.
