Carolyn Brown qualified as a solicitor in 1983 and joined Finers Stephens Innocent as a Partner in 1998 after over 10 years as a Partner in another West End firm. Carolyn now specialises in Employment Law cases particularly in the Civil Courts and the Employment Tribunal. She has a broad range of experience in employment work including advising on disputes over Employment Contract terms, bringing and defending statutory claims, for example, unfair dismissal and discrimination as well as advising clients on new statutory rights such as the Working Time directive, Family Friendly legislation and other new recent statutory protections for workers. Carolyn for many years combined her employment and litigation skills with work in Property litigation and has a wealth of general litigation experience in the Civil Courts including several reported cases. With other members of the FSI Employment Department Carolyn gives seminars on key employment issues and current topics as well as preparing client briefing notes on recent developments in the employment law area. The FSI Employment Department advises employers and senior employees in all areas of employment law. This variety ensures a broad and balanced approached in the advice given. |
