Details:
Alice qualified as a solicitor in the Employment department in 2000 having spent six months in this area of specialisation leading up to qualification. Her contentious areas of work involve both bringing and defending claims in the Employment Tribunal in relation to most employment disputes including unfair and wrongful dismissal, sex, race and disability discrimination and claims relating to the Working Time Regulations. Her non-contentious work involves advising companies and individuals in relation to contracts of employment, service agreements and employment rights issues including maternity and other forms of statutory leave, the handling of disciplinary and grievance procedures and all other aspects of the employment relationship. Alice has particular experience in advising organisations on the correct procedures for formulating and running redundancy processes both on an individual and collective basis. |
