Stephen specialises in all aspects of commercial property work, particularly in acquisition and disposal work, both freehold and leasehold primarily in relation to the retail sector and with general landlord and tenant matters. Additional areas of expertise include investment, secured lending, telecoms, development and portfolio management. His clients range from private investors and quoted companies to leading operators in the retail and leisure sector. His recent transactions include acting for a well known casino operator on their roll out programme of acquiring new casinos across the United Kingdom, a £20million residential purchase in Central London, disposals of £20million of investment property and dealing with the property aspects of a £5million sale of a retailer with a 100 store portfolio. Other transactions include acquisitions of new stores on the high street and in major new regional shopping centres, disposals of health clubs and restaurants, telecoms lettings for institutional landlords and the property aspects of corporate transactions. Stephen?s clients include Beaverbrooks the Jewellers, Adecco, X-Leisure, Monsoon, Virgin and the Michael Testler group of companies. Stephen spent 11 years as a partner at Nathan Silman, a niche property practice, before joining FSI in 2001. |
