Michael specialises in partnership matters and acts as a consultant in professional practice problems under the auspices of Finers Stephens Innocent. He writes and lectures regularly in most parts of the world. His clients are mainly solicitors and other professionals. In addition he concentrates on the legal issues affecting inward investments into the UK from various parts of the world, especially the USA and the Far East. He is the author of 'Anatomy of Professional Practice' and the general editor and major contributor to 'Successful Mergers: Planning, Strategy and Execution'. He writes a regular column in the European Lawyer under the name of HARUSPEX. He is the immediate past Chairman of the Practice Management and Technology Committee of the Section of Legal Practice of the International Bar Association Michael is an active member of the Law Practice Management Section of the American Bar Association, a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management and a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners. In addition, Michael is Chairman of the Society of English and American Lawyers. |
