Ms. Davis has extensive experience representing national banking associations, securities broker/dealers, and other corporate entities involving a wide variety of legal issues including Uniform Commercial Code issues, fraud, conversion, defamation, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, premises liability, and employment law matters. In addition to representing her clients in state and federal courts, Ms. Davis has been defending clients in arbitrations before the National Association of Securities Dealers and the New York Stock Exchange. She also has successfully represented clients in mediations, case evaluations, and other types of ADR processes.
Ms. Davis is experienced in defending securities brokers/dealers in arbitrations involving investor claims based upon allegations of churning, unsuitability, unauthorized trading, fraud, negligence, failure to supervise, and violation of various state and federal statutes.
Ms. Davis also has developed an extensive employment law practice in which she has represented clients in litigation matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, federal courts, and in arbitrations involving claims of sexual harassment, racial, gender, age, and disability discrimination. She successfully represented a national securities broker/dealer in numerous mediations and arbitrations arising from a class action settlement involving claims of gender discrimination, failure to promote, and retaliation. she also provides general advice to clients on employment disputes and has extensive experience drafting and reviewing employment agreements, company policies, and employee handbooks.
