Patrick T. Mottola, an associate with the firm, devotes his practice to environmental compliance, regulation and litigation.

Pat regularly serves clients on environmental issues including ISRA compliance, site remediation and Brownfields redevelopment projects, underground storage tank laws, and permitting, including air, water, waste and wetlands. Pat has served in litigation and enforcement matters relating to wetlands delineation, CAFRA, hazardous waste, insurance coverage for mold contamination, and the New Jersey Spill Compensation and Control Act.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Pat worked as a geologist and project manager for a national environmental consulting firm. With over ten years experience as a consultant, Pat has a breadth of knowledge and appreciation for the technical issues of environmental law. Pat brings this experience to his environmental law practice.

The New Jersey Law Journal has published two articles co-authored by Pat: "Beware Executive Order No. 215" and "Do We Have Enough Water?"  Pat also served as Editor for the New Jersey Business and Industry Association's New Jersey Environmental Compliance Digest (September 2003).  While in law school, Pat served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Seton Hall Constitutional Law Journal, in which he also published a casenote, New Jersey v. New York.

Pat has spoken on Environmental Law and Regulation at the Rutgers-Cook College Continuing Professional Education Program. His presentations included ISRA in February 2003 and Solid and Hazardous Waste in February 2004 and 2005.
